Premier Select: Choose Your Exact Ski Model

Announcing Premier Select: Your Ultimate Ski Experience is Now in Your Hands

At Snopro, we’ve always been committed to making your ski holiday seamless and stress-free. Our convenient ski rental delivery service has been a game-changer for countless guests. But we’re always listening to your feedback, and recently, we heard something that inspired us to make our service even better.

After our survey on the Snopro Japan expansion, we noticed a recurring theme: our guests wanted more transparency and control over their gear, especially in our Premier Packages. We took that feedback to heart, and it’s why we are thrilled to announce our new initiative: Premier Select.

As one guest, M Sartor, perfectly summarized in their review, “I would 100% choose Snopro if I was able to know my exact ski make/model before delivery.” Another respondent echoed this sentiment, saying, “The main issue is being able to discuss what skis are best for me and having more than one option to consider when using Snopro.”

We listened. ‘Premier Select’  is our solution, giving you the power to choose.

During the reservation process, our bespoke Gear Match booking engine now allows our more discerning skiers and riders to choose a specific type of ski or board based on their terrain preferences. You still have the easy option of letting the Snopro team choose for you, based on your ability, individual metrics, and current conditions. But now, you can also opt in for ‘Premier Select.’

With this new feature, you can choose a ski or snowboard based on its category and intended terrain, or even drill down to a specific model.

We’ve simplified the process into three easy options for our discerning guests:

1. Let the Snopro team choose for you based on your individual metrics, ability and the current conditions.
2. Opt in for Premier Select and choose from two main categories based on terrain preference: All-Mountain and Freeride.
3. Go a step further within Premier Select and choose a specific model.

We have put our hardware into two camps!  All-Mountain and Freeride.

All-Mountain

The All-Mountain selection favors gear that offers a traditional, versatile experience. These skis and boards are perfect for those who love groomed runs and mixed terrain, with capability for venturing off-trail.

• Skis: Generally skis from the mid-80s to mid-90s underfoot, such as the Atomic Maverick and Maven, Black Crows Serpo and Octo.
• Snowboards: Twin-style all-mountain boards that are perfect for carving on groomers, ducking into the trees for fresh lines, and even hitting the terrain park. Think boards like the Salomon Huckknife or Arbor Formula.

Freeride

Our Freeride option is for the adventurers who live for fresh snow. These skis and boards are designed to handle the deepest powder and the most varied conditions.

• Skis: Generally over 98mm underfoot with rocker tips for excellent float. Many models in this range are also surprisingly comfortable on groomers. Look for skis like the Armada Declivity X, Rossignol Soul series, and the Black Crows Atris. If playful skiing and powder hunting are your game, the Atomic Bent Chetler and Black Crows Anima with their twin rocker profiles are perfect.
• Snowboards: Volume-shifted, directional boards that are designed to keep the nose up in deep snow while still offering great on-trail performance. You’ll find boards like the Arbor Coda, Single and Satori, alongside the Salomon Dancehaul and Slickstick.

Finally, you can even drill down further to select a “preferred” model. You can see a full list of our models alongside their descriptions here. If your exact choice isn’t available, our team will be sure to deliver the most similar model possible.

This is a true game-changer for guests who love the convenience of our delivery service but have been hesitant to use it due to a specific ski or board request. We are confident that with Premier Select, the power is now in your hands to choose the on-snow experience you want.

We are so thankful for the honest feedback from our amazing guests. This initiative is now live for all Snopro rental bookings in Niseko, Japan for the 2025/26 season, and it’s available right now in New Zealand! Book your gear today and experience the difference.
